Penny, the daughter of one of the inmates, seeks to change this.

Blood Knight: Deconstructed with Captain Hurricane. Though described in the original stories' narration as a "genial giant", Hurricane always seemed on the verge of great anger over the slightest thing, grew moody and irritable whenever circumstances kept him away from battle, and would trounce anyone in his way once his "ragin' furies" took hold of him. In this universe, it's revealed that he was the closest thing to perfect to come out of a failed super-soldier program (possibly being only 14 at the time), and his furies were uncontrollable psychotic massacres where he ripped enemy tanks, and soldiers, to shreds. "Maggot" Malone, who posed as his loyal batman, is implied to be the doctor who originally created him, and was charged with keeping him heavily sedated throughout the war to ensure he would remain semi-functional; even decades later, believing he's in quiet retirement and living at the prison of his own free will, Hercules is still being drugged to keep him from going into a fit and killing everyone. Eagleton shuts down Nolan's idea of using him as crowd control in the riot because the man is completely directionless in his violence.

Fatty, the human originally appearing in The Nervs, is "a colony organism" being held for observation, and revealed to be comprised of both Nervs and Numskulls, from a similar concept in The Beano (see Writing Around Trademarks).
