The Bad Guy Wins: In a sense, Trixie gets everything she wants and gets off scott free. She manages to capture the avatar, gets the Alicorn Amulet, tames several spirits, gains incredible bending abilities thanks to Discord, and in the sequel she even gets her revenge on Twilight. The only time she ever failed was when she tried to capture Cloudsdale and even then it was a Near-Villain Victory! It's only after she does this that things start falling apart for her, Discord takes away most of her bending and teleports her away to who knows where, and she ends up stranded in the Spirit World, dying alone and forgotten by everyone except Silver Spoon and Twilight. In addition to the above, Discord also gets what he wants. He frees himself and quickly manages to Take Over the World and gets rid of everyone who is a threat to him. But, like Trixie, when he does this, things start falling apart for him. In the end, he turns out to share the same Fatal Flaw as his canon counterpart -overconfidence and his own pride getting in the way of his judgment- and he gets Killed Off for Real by the Elements of Harmony. | |

Episode 20: Twilight tries to bequeath elements of harmony to all her friends, but she gives generosity to Spike, putting him in a coma. Also, Rarity begins learning bloodbending. Episode 21: Prince Blueblood indirectly calls Rarity out on chasing the avatar, giving her a much needed reality check on her quest. Meanwhile, Spike is kidnapped by pirates, and disappears from the story. Episode 27: Sweetie Belle's endgame is finally revealed, and it is ingenious. Episode 30: As befitting the end of Avatar: The Last Airbender and its book 2, Sweetie's endgame is played into motion. Phillydelpia and then the world falls to the water nation. Team Avatar escapes with most of their allies, but Sweetie Belle skewers Twilight with poisoned water, and Celestia lets herself be captured in order to give team avatar harmony time to escape. Meanwhile, Canterlot receives a special gift from "D": Spike with the element of generosity still in his body. And on top of that, there's hints that Flowerbloom might be suspecting that the earth bender she's been fighting isn't what she thought she was. Book 3 Episode 1: Twilight was healed just as in Avatar Canon. However, in order to save her, Fluttershy had to sacrifice her bending to do so. Episode 2: Rarity gets the element of generosity out of spike and into her. It woke spike up, but when it happened, the other elements though the feeling was "weird". Episode 18 & 19: In teaching Rarity poison bending, Sweetie tries to get Rarity mad at a common servant. Rarity promptly calls Sweetie and her nation by extension on their actions. Episode 35: Instead of passing through without trouble in the fire tribe lands, instead team avatar harmony starts a rebellion in the tribes, with plans to eventually retake Manehatten with their new band. Episode 39: Unexpectedly, The Alliance shows up in manehatten, taking the city without a fight, and finally cluing in AJ how her element works. Episode 40: Blueblood is alive! Episode 44: The Water nation attempts a retaking of Manehatten, recreating the starfall spell to destroy them just like when Twilight first fled 100 years ago. Using her past lives, Twilight manages to destroy the attack, but everything changes. The great dragon dies buying them time, Rainbow Dash is blinded by Nightmare Moon defending Twilight and Sweetie Belle actually completes her Heel–Face Turn. All these ultimately means only the most important event happens. Discord is free once more. Book 4 Chapter 1: The elements seem to blast Discord, but in the process, only Twilight escapes his collapsing magic. Chapter 3: The last chapter was All Just a Dream, and Twilight escapes the Lotus-Eater Machine of her own mine. Chapter 4: We find out the story behind what happened in the real world: When Team Avatar harmony used the elements of harmony, discord rebounded them back on them, turning them all to stone. Meanwhile, Twilight rescues spike and the cutie mark crusaders, making their escape to find the other elements and save the world from discord's World of Chaos. Chapter 9&10: Nightmare Moon was recorrupted, and sent after Twilight and her team, but there's a part of her that's still fighting being Discord's servant. Chapter 15: Celestia was corrupted as well, and Gilda makes her return after a book long absence. Chapter 27: The Cutie Mark Crusaders, who were Twilight's new True Companions through this new adventure are defeated and corrupted back to evil with all the others forced to flee. Chapter 32: Twilight is on the verge of defeat at Trixie's hooves, when Rarity, who rejected Twilight freeing her before, finally chooses to come back, saving them all and purifying everyone again. Chapter 33: the elements of harmony are supposedly destroyed! 35: Despite the hopes of readers, the elements of harmony were not miraculously restored after Discord was destroyed. But, the war is finally over, and Rainbow Dash now has limited sight, meaning she can finally join the wonderbolts like she dreamed. | |

Avatar Starswirl is both Avatar Roku (the previous avatar in the cycle, a friendly connection to the water nation, the obvious mentor to the current avatar) and The Guru (teaches her how to activate the avatar state and the elements of harmony) Avatar Cadence is a combination of Avatar Kurruk (a lost lover due to an evil spirit), and Avatar Kyoshi (A master earth bender two avatars removed from Twilight) King Sombra is a composite of Combustion Man (assassin hired by Zuko role to kill the Avatar before Ozai role finds out she's still alive) and Ursa (missing parent of the ones in the Zuko and Azula roles). Spike surprisingly has several different roles he takes on. He's Appa (The Avatar's closest companion and goes missing in book 2), Momo (a leftover from the avatar's older days, found at one of her older hangouts, and left out of the final battle due to his smaller size), and he even has a little bit of Toph and Iroh as well (being "Zuko's" conscience and advocate from time to time). | |

When the avatar returns, I'll take one of the "chapter specific villains" Trixie, and use her as my special agent in the mortal plain to act under everyone's noses. To that end, I'll use her to steal the alicorn amulet, and when Spike gets generosity put into him, I'll steal him away when nobody's looking, and give him to rarity. While this could be seen as giving away the one thing that can hurt me, I'll corrupt the element while it's in spike and vulnerable, so that when it's returned to Rarity, I can use it whenever I want. Then, I'll use Trixie to stall Rarity during The summer sun celebration to ensure the heroes don't win. Then I'll send my creature of darkness, [ Sombra to destroy the elements. If he fails, it doesn't matter that much. Rarity will still be integrated into the group, and moving towards releasing me. Then when Trixie tips her hand, I'll use my corruption in Rarity to open my prison and throw off their aim. It's that simple." | |
