It starts happening with Ayako too, in Chapter 32. Chapter 35 shows that the opposite is also true when Zoro's paranoia helps him realize how much they screwed up by allowing Mr. 2 and Sanji to meet. Sabo openly wonders who would work for a stubborn guy like Dragon. Anyone who read ahead in the Manga is laughing their ass off at that. When Sabo discovers that Miss Valentine has amnesia after he uses her to escape Mr. 3's Candle Service Set, he takes it upon himself to ensure the Officer Agent receives medical attention. This could be considered an homage to the fact that Sabo in canon suffers from a severe case of amnesia. Also in chapter 35, when Nami is explaining the steam and the hotspot, Sabo can't help chiming in and mentioning his dislike for magma. This does not bode well for his future interactions with a certain Red Dog. | |

Zany Scheme: While it seems as though Bonnie is the smarter of the Sabo x Bonnie Duo, Sabo has been known to come up with various crazy schemes on the fly. In chapter 27, Sabo ropes Luffy into a zany scheme in an attempt to keep the Unluckies from flying off with the sketches they drew of Luffy, Sabo, Nami and Zoro upon overhearing their conversation with Vivi. The scheme fails but to his credit, Luffy and Sabo's failed scheme did succeed in cheering up Nami who was going through a nervous breakdown upon learning that they were going against one of the Seven Warlords. Later on in the same chapter, Luffy and Sabo manage to convince the visiting Nico Robin to add actual bounties to the Wanted Posters that Mr. 13 drew. And at some point in the process, Sabo even manages to get his top hat back. While Vivi is against them befriending a powerful enemy, it's once again Zoro who manages to see the true point of Sabo's scheme. Although it is worth noting that Miss All Sunday never had any intention of killing them. In chapter 29, Sabo enacts another zany scheme to escape Mr. 3's wax candelabra. Sabo starts by holding his breath to avoid breathing in the wax, then lures Miss Valentine in with the prospect of an invasive pat-down so he can use her to crack the wax at his feet, before taunting Mr. 5 into firing an exploding bullet at him which not only melts the wax off of him but ultimately allows him to escape the candelabra. | |

Due to being a ghost at the time, everything is in blue-scale so it's hard to tell the specific colors of some of her clothing. When they reach Alabasta, Bonnie wears a dancer outfit picked out by Sanji. The halter top is green with brown outlines and has an angled cut and an extra bit of material on the bottom which causes it to look like a V. A pale yellow cape hangs from the bottom and reaches the mint green skirt. The skirt has an angled cut at the waistband which causes the green and brown design to resemble another V while also allowing room for Bonnie's tail to come out from the back. Bonnie kept her black bandana and brown leather gloves and boots which would have matched the brown designs on her outfit if everything hadn't faded to blue-scale when she put it on. | |
