His entire Royal Guard, including it's mechanic, abandoned their posts and took the first flight to Japan once they heard Lelouch was shot. Unknown to them, he'd requested their transfer over a month prior so they couldn't officially get in any trouble. Later, Lukas turns down an offer to become Euphemia's knight because it'd mean that he'd no longer serve under Lelouch. Also Sayoko, whose loyalty to Lelouch was described as "absolute" by the mind-reader Mao despite of the fact that she is Japanese and knew about his and Nunnally's past from the beginning. | |
