Adaptational Explanation: This fic does a fair job of worldbuilding, which helps explain how the world functions or why things happen the way they do. In Chapter 1: Shikako discovers that serious ninjutsu training isn't done until one is eight or nine as children of younger ages just don't have the chakra to do it until then. The Ninja Academy isn't the only school in the Hidden Leaf. It's the one for those who aim to become ninjas. There's another one for civilians called Shogakko. Shikako almost ends up attending that school as her parents thought that she wouldn't be able to use chakra. Chapter 2: There are actually 5 or 6 classes at the Ninja Academy each year, with each class having 3 teams of 3 new genin going on to have jounin instructors every graduation.
