I HATE YOU is a Super Mario Bros. creepypasta based off of Super Mario World. It claims that the writer, Slime Beast, has found a lore-changing secret level in the game. It can be read here.The writer loves playing Super Mario World on emulator and has been playing it for a decade. One day, while playing the Sunken Ship level, they spot something they've never seen before—a "Blind Boo," or Boo enemy without eyes. The Blind Boo is blocking the exit Warp Pipe, but there is another way out: a Key and Keyhole, which open secret exits in the game; the narrator is sure that this is brand new, as they've never seen nor heard of anyone discovering an alternate route in the Sunken Ship. Excited to be the first to discover the secret, the narrator grabs the key and passes through...Mario then returns to the World Map, where a new level—signified by a whirlpool—appears. In a bit of foreshadowing, moving Mario to the whirlpool results in his expression becoming horrified, with a nearby giant Bowser rock formation crying tears of blood. A bit spooked but undeterred, the narrator enters the level, which is titled "OH GOD NO." Things quickly take a turn for the strange, as the level proves to be a kind of underwater castle that consists of a single long hallway that goes on for quite some time. As the narrator goes through the hallway, strange enemies appear, including more Blind Boos, Banzai Bills with screaming faces and blood gushing from their eyes, and Big Boos with horrific expressions of anger. Bloody messages also manifest on the walls, including "I HATE YOU" and "WHY WON'T YOU DIE?" The player is also forced to activate cheats to get through the level, as there is no way to escape the Bleeding Bills and Monster Boos.After finally reaching the end of the hallway, the narrator finds himself in a new area filled with Thwomps. In another scary twist, the floor under the Thwomps is covered with blood, suggesting that they've successfully smashed their victims into pulp. Next up comes a room full of spikes—which have other Marios impaled on them, suggesting that countless incarnations of the plumber have tried (and failed) to get through this level. The player escapes them all and enters a boss door...Once they reach the final chamber, the main character comes across Luigi himself. Entering a cutscene, they learn that Luigi has been an inside agent for King Koopa the entire time. He hates playing second fiddle to Mario, so he operates in the background and helps Koopa kidnap Princess Toadstool. Luigi is sick of his brother and wants him gone once and for all, so he stomps on Mario several times. This doesn't kill Mario. Mario takes his brother by surprise and pushes him into the lava.The player plays through the rest of the game to see if anything changed. Nothing has changed, though they can't enter the level anymore. The only apparent change is the ending art: Mario frowns at Luigi, Princess Toadstool is crying, and Luigi's face has been melted off.A ROM hack version of the creepypasta was released by SMW Central user Ersanio in July 2016, and can be found here.
