Kingdom Hearts: The Nintendo Version Remixed is a fanfic written by KingdomKey23. It is a remake of the original version back in 2004, which crossovers Kingdom Hearts and Nintendo by retelling the story, with Nintendo characters taking over Disney characters. For one main example, Yoshi and Luigi play the roles of Donald and Goofy as Sora's companions.The story began on December 29, 2019.What the author plans for this upcoming revision is, besides improved writing quality, the Nintendo worlds' storylines are going to be more faithful to their respective Nintendo lore instead of carbon copies of Disney storylines. Shout-Out: The author who did this duology is a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, and so he puts a lot of references to it. One is Lance and his Dragonites tribute Kaiba and his Blue-Eyes, and the nicknames (Azrael, Ibris, and Djibril) came from Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom. Clair's Dragonite is named Kisara. Hilbert's Thundurus, Tornadus, and Landorus's nicknames are based on the Egyptian God Cards. Even Reshiram and Zekrom are obviously nicknamed the Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes respectively.
