Mirror Universe: It's not a perfect mirror, but there's plenty of examples. The whole system is public knowledge. Enbey is basically the anti-Kyubey, right down to being black instead of white. Charlotte goes Clipped-Wing Angel instead of One-Winged Angel. Witches don't comes from Grief Seeds; they come from Soul Seeds. Meanwhile, magical girls don't have Soul Gems; they have Grief Gems. In other words, magical girls are powered by despair. In fact, a person needs to have enough grief in order to contract in the first place. Mami at one point says that despair brings hope. Because of the above Homura is now the most powerful potential magical girl...and TorBey is interested in her.
