Darker and Edgier: And how! Even though there are some breather chapters that also have some funny moments in them on occasion that feel more like the main stories in Tokimeki PokéLive! and Twinbee proper, for the most part, the stakes are quite high complete with mentions of death and murder being out in the open (Case in point:Rina's threat to turn Puppetmon into broken twigs with her Kartana being the closest thing anyone will ever see to a Love Live! character giving a death threat!), more usage of vulgar/swear words compared to the usual stories for both universes, and Piedmon wanting to cause no less than the Apocalypse by merging Love Live!Earth with Digimon/Idolmaster!Earth for some examples. | |
