Spending time with Aemma is practically impossible, not that the little girl is able to understand it.

It does not help that the one time Viserys tries to give him an opportunity to actually learn to rule, by granting him some lands, he rejected it because it wasn't Dragonstone or a land symbolic for the throne's heir apparent. Really, the only people that support his claim are either connected to his immediate family (the Hightowers and their vassals), think they can manipulate his rule or profit from it (the Lannisters and the Tullys), or personally dislike Rhaenyra.

His father and sister are very understandably furious with him. Elderly creep Dennis Plumm tried to get handsy with Alyssa. Not only is she a princess of blood, but he's doing it in the middle of a great hall filled with nobles, including Alyssa's entire family. Nobody is surprised when he suddenly died of an "illness". Word of God is that Baela is seriously regretting going with Daemon, mostly because she realised he's pretty unhinged at this point.

She also absolutely hates Rhaenyra for getting him banished both times and started rumours that Rhaenyra seduced her uncle to ruin her reputation in revenge. Larys Strong has a weird form of this with Joffrey Lonmouth. They see him as a Worthy Opponent of a spy-master and does not like any competition for his attention. As a result, they are willing to cooperate to get rid of any other spies running around to keep all the attention on themselves.

Mysaria. While she didn't appear on the screen yet, once Daemon meets her again off-screen she becomes his spymaster and organises sleeper agents across King's Landing. She also gives birth to his bastard daughter who becomes another dragon rider. Nettles. Joffrey attempted to locate her on Rhaenyra's orders but the girl was nowhere to be found. It turns out that Daemon knew about her being his daughter and ordered Mysaria to bring her to the Stepstones, and after the fall of Bloodstone she went into hiding with Mysaria and Baela.
