He ends up winning as planned, but Kanzaki was still far from an easy opponent even in that situation.

Index's narration is detailed and straightforward. Even her love of food is done in the same tone. Saten's narration is less formal and sophisticated than the other characters. Chapter 10 of In Memoriam has narration from a third grade Saten, which is unsurprisingly childish.

In chapter 14 both Banri and Erii appear in the Whole Episode Flashback. Said flashback ends in the reveal that Kiyama's students aren't in comas...instead,they're all dead.
