Created in July 2017 by PokemonLoveLiveFan99 on DeviantArt, the Tokimeki PokéLive! and Twinbee universe of fanfics is composed of a crossover between these four universes: Pokémon, Love Live!, Tokimeki Memorial and Twinbee, though there have been stories that have been written for this Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS and Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club-like universe as part of a previous continuity that are dated all the way back to September 2015.The primary stories that take place in this universe are Seinen styled one shots that usually have the schoolgirls doing various things in a lighthearted slice of life setting, taking place in the Love Live! universe and focusing on certain female characters from the Pokémon games, Love Live! School Idol Festival, Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS, Tokimeki Memorial:Forever with You and Twinbee and the stories also contain copious amounts of Yuri shipping from story to story. These are the most common type of stories for this universe.However, there are also more serious Shōnen styled side stories that take place in the same universe and are more action packed and also allow for male characters to appear from the franchises involved in the crossover and beyond, barring Love Live!, seeing as there are no male characters from that universe officially, that are written more sparingly.And starting in late September 2017, the writer has collaborated with another deviant to create Tokimeki Splatoon, another spin-off/AU with Hilda, Shizuku, Shiori, Pastel, Yoko and some of their friends/allies involved in the crossover as well, where they discover Inkopolis. Just like the Side Stories, Tokimeki Splatoon is also composed of more serious stories with stakes for certain characters but there are also stories that are lighthearted with humorous moments and feel more like Tokimeki PokéLive! and Twinbee proper. Darker and Edgier:Oh so much! Especially when compared to the ultra lighthearted Love Live!, TokiMemo and Twinbee franchises proper. At times, it even pushes the envelope compared to certain Pokémon games, them already having darker, more complex storylines and characters to begin with! Some examples. In the Side Stories and certain Special Stories. Tokimeki Splatoon also has it's moments where the stakes are higher for the Osaka Whites, maybe even more so than for the characters in the Side Stories! The crossover story arc Multidimensional Dark Masters is shaping up to be this though balanced with some breather chapters, sometimes also containing humorous moments. In general, while this universe feels a lot like the normal versions of the franchises involved in the crossover, there are also some dark moments/backstory that also give this universe a different feel compared to the naive, full on lighthearted fun that normal Love Live!, Tokimeki Memorial and Twinbee provide. And thanks to The death of Daisy Wakaouji, not even the TMGS characters are immune to this either! Like Pokémon Black and White and unlike regular Love Live!, Tokimeki Memorial and Twinbee, the series also dabbles into more philosohpical topics/issues like whether or not Pokémon should be modified by humans, as seen in stories like "Cretaceous Hunters and Pennsylvanian Giants, Oh My!". | |

Alternate Continuity: Is a separate one from the Pokémon games, combines the events of both the Love Live! School Idol Festival as well as the SIF ALL STARS universes into one and combines the characters from the main TokiMemo games with the Girl's Side games in one universe. Other examples: Hilda is shown to have picked Oshawott as her starter instead of Tepig, as seen in other official Pokémon media with her, and unlike the games, she also has a cheerful personality similar to Ritsu Tainaka's. Though that personality trait of hers is not gone completely, Shizuku Osaka is less of a tsundere here, and instead of her being teased about being a tsun, Hilda is the tsundere, and she's the one who's teased about it as a result. Instead of Naoto Takami as her love interest, Shiori Fujisaki has Pastel Cerise and Mutsuki Takamagahara as her girlfriends in this universe. Likewise, Chikara Osako replaces Kouichi Watase as Kasumi Asou's boyfriend. Unlike the first pair of Unova-based Pokémon games, where either Hilda or Hilbert are the protagonist who faces N and his "father", in this continuity, Hilbert, as well as Coco Miyashita (And on a more minor note, Sonic) are the ones who face N and his uncle in a fateful battle that decides the fate of the world. Unlike Pokémon: The Power of Us, which leaves Risa's decision to run again ambiguous, this version of her decides that she wants to start running again thanks to her girlfriend Emma Verde. Unlike ALL STARS, Emma lives with Risa rather than using one of the Nijigasaki High dorm rooms as her Canon counterpart does. Hilda's mention of the events of Red, Blue and Yellow (As well as FireRed and LeafGreen), Gold, Silver and Crystal (As well as HeartGold and SoulSilver), Emerald in particular for Hoenn (Due to Hilda mentioning that Brendan battled both Team Magma and Team Aqua.) and Platinum (Since she mentions that Lucas defeated Cyrus with the help of Cynthia in the Distortion World.) in "If At First You Don't Succeed..." implies that at least the events of the GB/GBC, GBA and DS Main Series Pokémon games happened in the world her and Bianca originally came from. Though some details are different, the fact that N awakens the Tao Dragon that opposes the one Hilbert and Coco awaken, N defecting from the Eggman Empire and the Eggman Empire splitting into two factions, one led by Eggman and the other by N, shows that the events of the two pairs of Unova-based Pokémon games also happen in this universe. The fact that Nijigasaki as well as Otonokizaka and Uranohoshi have Pokémon Trainer's Clubs in this continuity whereas there aren't any Pokémon across the various Love Live! anime or in School Idol Festival/ALL STARS to speak of. Unlike ALL STARS, there seems to be hints that certain characters won't defect to the School Idol Association due to Lanzhu revealing that her and Mia are having a hard time convincing anyone to join it in "Mia Taylor's First PP!", instead the main confict at Nijigasaki in PokéLive! is Mia and Lanzhu trying to have Chairwoman Zhong ban Pokémon Training and Trainers bringing their Pokémon with them on campus with the exception of themselves. | |

Whole-Plot Reference: Quite a few: It's implied that the events of Pokémon Black and White happened in Shizuku Osaka's world (Earth), but with the additions of Sonic and Coco aiding Hilbert and Eggman being the true mastermind behind the deception of N rather than Ghetsis. Just like the original games, Hilbert and Hilda are best friends with Bianca and Cheren and both befriend (And in the case of Hilbert as well as Coco, fall in love with.) N. N awakens and befriends the first dragon (Zekrom in this case) while the protagonist(s) (Hilbert and Coco) awaken and befriend Reshiram, the opposite dragon, in the Titanic Monarch. Eggman takes the hero and heroine on after N loses to them, just like how Ghetsis does to Hilbert or Hilda in the original games. Though the hero and heroine join him, N goes on a journey elsewhere after Eggman's defeat. Like the original School Idol Festival, Shizuku and certain other students originally went to Otonokizaka High. Like Team Plasma in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, the Eggman Empire splits into two different factions, one with N as the leader and one with Eggman as the leader, who oppose each other. Though an adaptation of "The King Returns" from Pokémon Generations, N confronts Eggman with some help just like he does to Ghetsis in BW2. Similar to SIF ALL STARS, μs, Aqours and PERFECT Dream Project are all School Idol groups in the same span on time. Also like SIF ALL STARS, this version of PDP also has more than 9 members with the additions of certain Pokémon and Tokimeki Memorial girls in addition to Pastel from Twinbee. "Gemstone of Illusion" is similar to the plot of the story "Altered States" from Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 101, complete with the characters experiencing alternate realities and one of the characters knowing the truth, and as a result, breaking the illusions. The first part of the "Ideal Hero" Side Story arc adapts "The King Returns" from Pokémon Generations while parts 2-4 expand on it, complete with a battle between Reshiram and Black Kyurem. | |
