If the movie was not a high-budget Lifetime Movie of the Week, chances are that Slim would have seen the inside of a jail cell for some time (at least until the investigation cleared her), or ended with a He Who Fights Monsters aesop. Instead, out into the sunset she goes, without an ounce of angst from her, or her kid.
