Mustang is a 2015 internationally co-produced drama film directed by the Turkish female film director Deniz Gamze Ergüven, featuring mostly unknown actresses playing the main characters.The critically acclaimed film is centered on five strong-willed, free-spirited Turkish sisters who are caught playing a game of chicken at the beach with several boys. After a neighbor tattles to their conservative grandmother about this abhorrent behavior, the sisters are put on house arrest until they can learn to be proper wives and eventually get married off, to the chagrin of the girls.
