 Abusive Parents: Rohan's father, Ashok Nanda is the primary example in a movie full of horrible parents. Because he resents Rohan for wanting to be a musician instead of a businessman like him and his older brother Ajay, he verbally and emotionally abuses him in nearly every scene they have together. In the climax of the movie, he even becomes physically abusive towards Rohan, hitting him when calls him out on his treatment of him. Abhimanyu's aunt makes it clear how much she doesn't like having to take care of Abhimanyu, even going as far as to call him bad luck when his grandmother is hospitalized.
