Multi-Part Episode: Every Let's Play is split into parts. Some have only a few, but as of December 7, 2015, Pokémon Insurgence broke the record for the most episodes in a single playthrough, pausing at 138. What makes this more impressive is that the previous record-holder, Pokémon FireRed Version, was produced over the course of two and a half years, with frequent breaks. When Insurgence went on hiatus (due to the game itself being unfinished), it had been running for 28 consecutive weeks. Since then, the record has been beaten once again by the ongoing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild playthrough, which stands at over 150 episodes. Shortly after the record was broken, the previous 138-episode run was matched by the 2017 playthrough of Pokémon Moon.

New Meat: When possible, the hosts make sure a given game's Let's Player has never played it before. Played for Laughs in situations like 5 Days a Stranger where John has trouble controlling it at all.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })
