In short, thousands of people are fighting over a controller. Throughout its life, Twitch Plays Pokémon has spawned hilarious characters, memorable moments, and even a few religions.As the sixth installment of the franchise, Twitch Plays Pokémon HeartGold is a return to the Johto Region, but it continues the randomization trend previously seen in Twitch Plays Pokémon FireRed. Alternate Universe: If this continues the trend started in FireRed. The Far Future apparently averted; Copycat stated Red gave her the Pokédoll three years ago still, meaning HeartGold takes place three years after Twitch Plays Pokémon Red, rather than the far future. This also means Ao-chan and AJ's stories take place at the same time, both being three years after Red defeated Team Rocket. Which in turn raises another question; If Alice is atop Mount Silver, though FireRed takes place in the Far Future, while Ao-chan's time period is set three years after Red, like AJ's time is, why is Alice on Mount Silver, where AJ and Red should be fighting around this time? One possible explanation is that since Alice is identified as "Pokemon Trainer Red", she may have used Red as an alias in the past. So the Red that Copycat was talking about might still be Alice. | |
