An eleven-book series by Jude Watson published from 2001-2004, Jedi Quest takes place in the Star Wars Legends continuity, and is a Spiritual Successor of sorts to Watson's previous Jedi Apprentice series. The books deal with the developing relationship between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker during the time between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, and details many of their missions. Like its predecessor it was aimed at a largely tween audience.Books in the series: The Path to Truth (unnumbered) The Way of the Apprentice The Trail of the Jedi The Dangerous Games The Master of Disguise The School of Fear The Shadow Trap The Moment of Truth The Changing of the Guard The False Peace The Final Showdown

Set Swords to "Stun": Justified: like its predecessor Jedi Apprentice, Jedi younglings and Padawans use less-lethal training sabers supplied by the Jedi Temple until they're able to build their first adult lightsaber of their own. Though note carefully they're only less lethal than proper lightsabers: Anakin is still able to kill a beastie that attacks him and Obi-Wan with his training saber in The Path to Truth, it just takes more effort (Anakin has to Attack Its Weak Point).

The Nondescript: Big Bad Granta Omega is a "Force Blank", a being with no connection to the Force whatsoever. As a result he blends right in, is typically forgotten by people after he leaves, and is all but immune to a Jedi's Spider-Sense.
