Moara cu Noroc (The mill of Goodluck) is a Romanian Psychological and Realist Novella wrote by Ioan Slavici and published in 1881. The story takes place in late 19th century Transylvania and is centered around a shoemaker named Ghiță and his family who buy a pub named "Moara cu Noroc". Everything goes great until a mobster by the name of Lică Sămădău appears and proposes Ghiță to join him in exchange for even more money.
