There is a difference between the Anjuli of the pastâ€”the shy, frightened and cry-baby and starved-for-affection little girl of childhoodâ€”and then the somber, quiet, and usually reserved young woman who hides a passionate heart. Later on after she and Ashton are married, Anjuli matures further into a strong, dependable young woman who, though still quiet and peaceful, is warm, loving, firm-willed, and utterly loyal.
