The Gloryverse is an ongoing trilogy of stories written by Thebarbiemonster which chronicle the day in the life of Colt Seward, a member of the revered all-female gang otherwise known as The Bitches who like to make money by conducting elaborate plans to steal cash from wealthy men in town and from anyone male, really. Though after a mission goes awry on them, things start to fall apart. This is also a story in which America lost a certain World War and is in shambles and criminals run amok due to no control whatsoever. There's many other things Colt has to contend with: Nan, her cynical grandmother; her psychotic friends who push her to keep disastrous secrets; Virgil, the poet she lusts for in church; Redd, a former friend who has been recently released from prison; and Angelo, also back in her life who doesn't exactly approve of her behavior. The first story in the trilogy is called Glorious Triumph. The second, due out by the end of the year or early 2012, is called A Glorious Angel. You can read the story here | |
