The Red Maiden: Grace's Story is a romantic creepypasta written and posted by Beast on Reddit's NoSleep.Heavily based upon the Irish vampire legends of the Dearg Due and the Abbartach, the story is set in the ninth century and told from the perspective Mac Luaithre. He tells the story of his romance with a noblewoman named Grace, of how she was married off to a cruel Chieftain, who tortured her for months leading to her death. However death is not the end of Grace's story, for a year later, she awoke from the grave as something not human any more.
