24 DS is an ongoing web series written by Sugarp1e 1 on DeviantArt. It's written in the style of a Shōnen anime/manga.24 DS follows 16-year-old Tedrick, a human boy who was raised in another dimension by two dragons; Inazuma, Queen of the Lightning Dragons, and her Battle Butler Denkō. Growing up in this magical dimension gave Tedrick powers over lightning and electricity. But his Hair-Trigger Temper causes him to lose control whenever he's pissed. This "forced" Inazuma to lock him up in a giant glass bubble for the majority of his life. So you can imagine Ted's joy when he was finally allowed to leave the Lightning Dimension and go to the Life Dimension (Earth). Unfortunately, upon arriving with Denkō, he discovers the purpose his adoptive mother prepared him for; to destroy humanity. Disgusted, Tedrick betrayed the dragons and began to protect the Life Dimension.Four months later, Tedrick loses his temper at a diner and, after finding a safe spot, chars the area around him with his lightning. This draws the attention of a boy around his age wearing a metal mask. And that's when Ted learns that he's not the only one...There are currently five published chapters (including the Prologue). It can be read here.

Power Levels: Dragons are categorized into levels based on the twenty-four letters of the Greek alphabet (Denkō is an Alpha-level dragon for example). The only exception is the Lord-level, which is exclusive to Dragon Lords.

Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Tedrick states numerous times that Denkō is a smart-ass. And indeed he is. But the latter genuinely cares for the former and is heartbroken by his betrayal. Dallas is arguably more of a smart-ass than Denkō, but he's fiercely loyal to the Dragon Slayers.

Weredragon: Dragons have two forms; human and dragon. The former form has human features such as hair and skin, but also dragon-like features such as scales, wings and claws. The latter form hasn't been described yet beyond Tedrick's description of Inazuma's as "a hundred tons of yellow, scaly reality".

Only One Name: Dragons don't have last names. Played With with the Dragon Children. Technically they don't have last names either; their "last names" are just their adoptive parents' names. Averted with Eve. She's the only Dragon Child who isn't an orphan, so her "dragon" last name is hyphenated with her "human" last name.

Abusive Parents: Inazuma's idea of disciplining Tedrick is locking him in glass bubble whenever he throws a tantrum. Denkō qualifies in way too. He did more of the "traditional" parent stuff with Tedrick (feeding him, playing with him, etc.), but he didn't have any problem with Inazuma putting Ted in that bubble from time to time. That being said, Denkō still loved him regardless.
