The art of combat with excreta, first employed by humanity's simian ancestors. It is almost Exactly What It Says on the Tin: a combat technique based on the throwing of feces. For some reason the verb used for the action is almost always "fling" (rather than a synonym like "throw" or "hurl"), particularly when performed by monkeys. Compare Butt Cannon, Urine Trouble, Fartillery, Excrement Statement. A subtrope of Toilet Humor (in most cases, this is rarely if ever Played for Drama) and a member of the Fu family. |

Each Dark Souls game features the Dung Pie item. Throwing it at an enemy is one of the few ways to inflict the ultra-damaging Toxic status effect, making it something of a Lethal Joke Weapon. Some enemies in The Binding of Isaac are capable of crapping out little pieces of living poop (some of them even are larger pieces of living poop. One particular boss, Brownie, not only produces a whole bunch of these, but also lies down POOP MINES, which burst into poison gas and shoot corn pieces around. One particular boss, The Carrion Queen, has the ability to lay down pieces of Red Poop, which cause Collision Damage and can regenerate a bit of time after being destroyed. For that reason she's considered That One Boss. One of the items you can get is called "No. 2". It causes that, after shooting nonstop for a few seconds, Isaac with lay down a Butt Bomb, which is a bomb made of poop. Not only is it able to damage things the same way a usual bomb does, but it also causes small damage and confusion to all enemies in the room. Introduced in the Repentance expansion is an item called "Montezuma's Revenge". Similarily to No. 2, you have to charge it by shooting for a bit... after which Isaac will be propelled forward by what can only be described as a diarrhea laser that can damage enemies. Also, one of the Mechanically Unusual Class characters introduced in Repentance, Tainted ???, has this as his gimmick: instead of using bombs, he produces different kinds of poop which he then throws at his enemies. Yeah, this game has a lot of Toilet Humor. |
