Fortunately the New Republic figured out the pattern of the sleeper agents and their targets and the plots were thwarted. At each incident a New Republic Intelligence agent assists in halting the attacks but officially there were never any intelligence agents present at any of the events and every sleeper agent was foiled by ordinary citizens, which is a better story for easing all the tensions. The Essential Guide to Warfare: A short story set during New Jedi Order sees Vergere discuss her motives with Tahiri while the latter is held captive by the Yuuzhan Vong. The enigmatic woman notes that Tahiri is drugged to forget the whole conversation anyway, ending with the line "and as the holos would say, I was never here."
