Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga is about Icelandic duo Lars and Sigrid competing as Iceland's entry to Eurovision after literally every other contestant dies when the yacht they were all partying on suddenly explodes in a deliberate attempt by Iceland's minister of Economy to stop Iceland from winning and having to host the very expensive event next year. Every single one of their acts goes horribly wrong due to collapsing sets, Wardrobe Malfunction, and various other slapstick events. Somehow they wind up making it to the finale and wow everyone by performing one of Sigrid's own songs, a heartfelt ballad about growing up in Iceland — only to be immediately disqualified for performing the wrong song. | |
