A character wants to feed, drug or poison someone else, but the target is not having any of it. So, in order to make the target consume the desired substance, the perpetrator pops some of that very same substance into their own mouths and kisses their mark to force it down their throats. For some reason, the perpetrator never seems to suffer the adverse effects of putting potentially harmful substances inside their mouths, although this may be justified if the drug in question is beneficial in nature (e.g. food or medicine), or is encapsulated in such a manner that it would only take effect after being digested. Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })Given the intimate/seductive nature of the process, this could characterize the perpetrator as The Vamp that invokes Foe Romance Subtext with their targets. Meanwhile, helpful transfers frequently overlap with Intimate Healing and invokes Ship Tease between the parties involved. Sister trope to Drugged Lipstick. Also compare Sleight of Tongue, in which the kiss is used to transfer a lockpick, weapon, or some other objects to a captive hero that would help the latter free him/herself. |

Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School: during the final murdergame, Ando and Izayoi come across what seems like a door leading outside the building, only for Ando to use the kiss to slip a macaron into Izayoi's mouth, thus triggering his Forbidden Action, and by extension, killing him by doing so. He's completely fine with it, though, but she did do it because she thought that they were going to activate ANDO'S Forbidden Action, thus forcing her to do it because she thought it was going to save herself from death.

An episode of CSI: NY has a man drop dead after sinking a winning shot during half-time at a basketball game. A few years earlier he'd mocked someone else whose name had been pulled. The killer is a Formerly Fat woman whom he once started a chant to "eat a salad" (which blew up and ruined her life) when her name was called. To get even, she'd gotten in shape, become a cheerleader, taken the antidote to a poisonous plant, rigged the lottery, and spat the poison into his mouth via a kiss.

Princess Mononoke: After Ashitaka is injured to the point of almost being unable to move, San tries to feed him some dried meat so that he can regain his strength but, even then, he's too weak. This leads an annoyed San to chew the food and feed it to him mouth-to-mouth in one of the more tender moments in a brutal story. Possibly justified in that San was literally Raised by Wolves and this might be the only way she can understand to do this kind of thing without any notion of the significance of mouth-to-mouth contact between humans.

Delicious in Dungeon: Played for laughs when the orc captain helps to heal the wounded party. She force-feeds the unconscious a grotesque Healing Potion made of ground-up frog legs, tentacles, herbs and other unknown ingredients, and it does seem to revive them a bit. When Marcille's turn comes up, she desperately tries to convince the captain that she doesn't meed any medicine... but is too weak from mana loss to stop her from getting the same mama bird treatment.
