Depending on game rules and how much you upgrade his mechlab, Yang is able to weld together pieces of disparate 'mech wrecks back into fully operational machines complete with weapon loadouts, and remodel them with a speed and flexibility only beaten by OmniMechs in the lore. Speaking with him implies Yang could easily get a job in any Inner Sphere house, but he likes working with a small-time merc outfit because it gives him the freedom to tinker.
