This refers to the tendency for characters to cracknote heh heh, you said "crack" jokes about the planet Uranus and its unfortunate name. In other words: Uranus is the buttnote heh heh, you said "butt" of jokes. Attempts to rectifynote heh heh, you said "rectify" this usually try to vary the pronunciation (YOO-ruh-nus, although sometimes people get this wrong and say "urine-us", which is just as bad). Although there might be a case for OUR-ran-os, which may be closer to the original Greek.note Uranus is the Romanization, unlike the other seven planets, which use the actual Roman names. It doesn't help a bit to learn that Uranus used to be classified as one of the "gas giants," with an atmosphere believed to contain large clouds of methane, that there are rings around it, and that it is constantly leaking gas. Obviously, this trope is almost exclusive to the English language, since other languages use different words (or at least different pronunciations) for "Uranus" and "your anus" (although almost everyone would still understand the word "anus").
