A philosophy that is so bizarre, rambling, and insane that no one in their right mind can understand it. There are many reasons for why some, be they an academic or a layman, spout beliefs like this. Maybe in whatever culture they're originally from it makes total sense but outside of it, it is completely nonsensical. Maybe the "philosopher" does have some good points, but doesn't have the writing skills to express their ideas coherently. Maybe the point is so complicated that it would take several college courses to grasp its meaning. Or, maybe the philosopher is just a Talkative Loon. When someone attempts to explain their Word Salad Philosophy to you, expect plenty of Meaningless Meaningful Words, Delusions of Eloquence, and Perfectly Cromulent Words. May resemble an Ice-Cream Koan. Compare and contrast Insane Troll Logic. Can easily turn into either Word-Salad Humor or Word-Salad Horror.
