A year after winning Eurovision, Zelmerlöw co-hosted the competition with Swedish personality Petra Mede. He's also hosted Allsång på Skansen, a Swedish music show, Melodifestivalen, Sweden's selection process for Eurovision, and Eurovision: You Decide, the UK's selection final for 2018 and 2019, where his wit was widely praised.Prior to Eurovsion, Zelmerlöw was a contestant on Pop Idol 2005, where he placed fifth overall.
