Updated Re-release: Xavier has a habit of re-evaluating and re-packaging older works: Vektordrum's two 2009 Hello Skypedals EPs would be reconfigured into Hello1&2 in 2016. The new album re-ordered the songs and ditched the remixes by Nonima. Vektordrum's 161-minute 2009 album I, Banished was re-cut into the 79-minute Geese in 2010, with the title track pitched down, another song entirely rebuilt into a new song, and all included songs gaining new segues. A later digital re-issue in 2016 gave it different cover art. Vektroid's 2010 EP TELNET EROTIKA would be reissued as Telnet Complete in 2017 with 12 bonus songs, an entirely different running order, and reworkings of the original 5 songs. Vektroid's Starcalc was a 12 song album that came with a bonus 11 song package consisting of Polymind EP, Sphinx Caverns and Windows Safari. The latter two EPs were quickly repackaged as Polytravellers, while all but one song from Polymind EP were added to Starcalc alongside 4 other bonus songs. New Dreams Ltd.'s Initiation Tape would receive a remastering in 2014, adding several songs from the esc不在 albums. Laserdisc Visions' New Dreams Ltd. has 3 versions: A 21-track digital release; a 22-track cassette version with two additional songs and "Zik Zak" and "Liquid Air" merged; and a 27-track digital re-issue one year later, retaining the order of the first release but adding five different extra songs and one extra song from the cassette version. The cassette version also added Japanese commercial soundbytes as an ambient haze to the full length of the album. Fuji Grid TV's Prism Genesis would be expanded and reissued in 2016 under the artist name of New Dreams Ltd. and the album name of Fuji Grid TV EX. Vektroid's Neo Cali was originally a 10 song album. It was quickly turned into a 15 song album while also removing "Wild Wave", but as of 2018 is a 14 song album, having removed "Untitled" as well. Macintosh Plus' Floral Shoppe got a similar treatment to New Dreams Ltd. On cassette and vinyl, the two final songs were swapped out for two new songs, a couple tracks are pitched downward and slower, and one track also fades into the next. The 2017 vinyl reissue is a remastered version of the cassette but removes the segue on side A. A bonus song is also included. Vektroid's Color Ocean Road had five bonus songs added onto the end shortly after its initial release. In 2017, the final bonus song was moved up in the track position, appearing as the final song of the EP proper before the bonus tracks. Sacred Tapestry's Shader got a reissue as Shader Complete in 2016, with a revised track order and new music. PrismCorp Virtual Enterprises' two albums from 2013 were issued with expanded tracklists on cassette. Both albums received "Complete Edition" reissues in 2016. All three versions of Home™ and ClearSkies™ have different trackorders and bonus songs, with one song from ClearSkies™ remaining exclusive to the cassette version. | |
