Journey Through the Multiverse (Roleplay)	comment	Journey Through The Multiverse is an RPG created by Psyga315, based off an old RPG he had played on Henshin Justice Unlimited.The story is about a group of people who have been wrapped in a widespread war between The Empire and the Red Pirates, a group of people who wish to discover the secrets of "The Power", the source of every kind of magic and power imaginable. With the powers and technology they gained from the aftermath of one such battle, they soon begin to embark on a Journey Through The Multiverse.However, the journey is not easy, as The Empire soon builds their forces up to attack the group, and soon, many people come out of the woodwork to partake in this war, from the insane Pantheon of the Demented, to the Hot-Blooded Dai-Gurren Brigade, all the way to the Red Pirates rising from the ashes. All while under the watchful eye of three mysterious godlike figures known only as the Monitors. Soon, many people change sides at the drop of a hat, and it's pretty clear that War Is Hell, even in the wide Multiverse.Sign-ups can be found here. Due to one reason or another, the RPG had moved sites, and the final arcs, now under the title: JTTM: Beyond Beyond The Impossible could be reached here. A reboot in the lines of Rebuild of Evangelion is available, though it won't interfere with the original. Another reboot has also began signups on the TV Tropes roleplay forums, this time taking more influence from Kamen Rider Decade's Super Sentai equivalent, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.A character sheet is available. Not only that, he is able to use these powers outside of his suit. Meanwhile, the Gokaigers seem to have the blunt end of the stick, with their Ranger Keys not actually allowing them to don the Ranger Suits, but rather are lite versions of the Power Shards, granting temporary power. This also seems true for other Sentai teams, as the Shinkengers don't transform and instead use their weapons outside of their suit, save for Takeru, who did happen to be in suit when fighting Ash. However, this gets subverted by Akared, who gives the Gokaigers their Transformation Trinkets and allows them to transform. Speaking of Ash, Ankh too gets an upgrade. He has nearly every Core Medal, and can make more Core Medals by putting a cell medal in someone's head. Yes, the same method Greeeds use to make Yummies is now the method used to make Core Medals.

Then it gets worse during the WPN incident. How? Tsukasa brings EVA 01 into the mess, and it goes berserk, absorbing WPN and effectively becoming a fusion of a Witch and an Angel. And while it got dispatched pretty easily, what happens next becomes more shocking. The Watcher is revealed to be Post-Cosmic Retcon Homura, Deus takes away her powers and banishes her to another realm, and Nicholas dies. Then another Homura witches out. It all turns out to be Deus' plan, and he takes her to the Guardian, who is Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Not only that, but Gai takes Madoka under his wing, as she joins the Dai-Gurren Brigade. While the Imperium, Dai-Gurren, and Pantheon were enjoying a good old Beach Episode, Dai-Shocker began to splinter off after one of them finds that their leader has killed Lilly. Who did they splinter off into? The Checkmate Four. As if that wasn't enough, Marvelous comes back. Soon, Envy's reign has caused Tsukasa/Daishuyro to reconsider his decision to make him a God, and a powerful Enemy Mine situation had to be created. Also, Ahim comes to the group and tells them all about the Legend Xros Wars, which may destroy the entire Multiverse. Where did she get this from? Akared. From the other Gokaiger world. And then after that's done, Tsukasa still makes a deal with Father. Not only that, but the Guardian then takes Madoka and makes her a human version of Kriemhild Gretchen Linkara's World had a big wham episode from the get go with a pretty high number of deaths (Suzaku, Wataru, Lewis' Sister in a backstory, Nolan, Lord Vyce, Ash (though it's complicated) and Dunbar/Ichigo. Lewis almost died, but was saved by Roy.) And in a single post, there's a massive wham in the form of Both Daishuryou and Madoka attacking Earth/The World of Lilim on December 21st, 2012! This is so whammy that it's played like a damn cliffhanger, complete with To Be Continued and an ending song!

There's also the Pantheon Of The Demented and The Monitors, but it seems they have no side to take, the former mostly because they're against everyone. Later on, it gets confusing, with the Checkmate Four forming note Villains who want Tsukasa gone and the Red Pirates returning note Heroes who see everyone as a threat. Subverted by the end of the Avatar Arc, as they make it pretty clear that everyone is in an Enemy Mine situation against Envy, Tsukasa, and the Guardian.

There's a ton of Gurren Lagann quotes, most of them reworded to fit a new context. It even gets lampshades by Oleg as he makes a Drinking Game out of it. Not to mention that there's a character who is entirely influenced by Gurren Lagann and even follows around a Gurren Lagann character. The fact that it begins with a confrontation between Captain Marvelous and Kadoya Tsukasa echos that of Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen. N.A.V.I. serves a dual shoutout. For one, Navi was the name of Marvelous' robotic parrot from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, while its blue text, avatar, and role serve more as another Navi. Becomes even more funny when Falkon arrives with Link's powers. As if that's not enough, the Tel'tak's A.I. is named M.A.M.I., which doubles as an Actor Allusion, as both Navi and Mami were voiced by the same actress. After he's sent to the ship, Michael reveals he could never get the hang of Thursdays. After Mutsuki joined Dai-Shocker, Michael reveals that he felt a strange disturbance in the force. During the Breaking the Fourth Wall Discussion above, August questions whether the Fourth Wall is actually being broken and comes to the conclusion that Tropers playing characters as the Tropers that play them as they discuss tropes is just counts as a terrible Inception reference. Every time the Imperium goes to a new world, a songnote An orchestral rendition of "Don't Say Lazy" plays that is eerily similar to a song played in Kamen Rider Decade that uses almost the same context for the song. Not to mention that they are shown a pretty picture about that world, just like in Decade. This stopped as soon as other ways of going to worlds were found. The song played in Kamen Rider Decade does indeed play, but to a rather shocking moment. Our Earth is called The World Of Lilim. One work used that word to describe humanity. Not in a good way neither. During the fight with Mutsuki, Michael thinks how the other crew members can help him in the battle... until he gets to Philosopher, the Doctor impersonator, whom he think should just ubercharge someone. When suggesting how to attract the Imperium's attention, Kios suggests the Joker should do a parade, blow up a hospital and drop a bomb in a key location that will blow up a very important building. When presented with a Sadistic Choice, Nicholas takes the time to call out the Joker for ripping off Norman Osborne's shtick. During the climactic warehouse chase and battle with the Joker, things are interrupted for a moment as August beats up on six mooks at once while singing snatches of Cara Mia Addio. Falkon's dream scenes are filled to the brim with references to The Legend of Zelda. At one point Michael says to Nicholas that he doesn't give a damn. Michael tells the crew a joke that starts with "an earthbender and an airbender walk into a bar..." Once approached by Falkon, Kios starts singing "do you need a break from modern living?..." Another one by Kios: once Mutsuki gives August a not-so-warm welcome to the Dai-Shockers, Kios tells him that "this isn't a place where everybody knows your name- and really, no one's glad you came." When confronted by a woman that asks if he is from the Dai-Shocker, Kios makes up a story that August is his brother. The fake name he used? Simon. Nanabey apparently has Friends on the Other Side. Nicholas' Big Damn Heroes Moment for Mami is him rebounding off the ropes, tackling Kios headfirst, and smashing him through a door, all while shouting "Muscle Millennium", a move which has something similar in the execution. Nicholas says the "Are you satisfied with this world?" line to two guys before he tries to murder them. Tsukasa's Badass Boast was basically his version of the Angels' Badass Boast from Nobody Dies. Ironic considering that he was piloting EVA 01 at the moment. After the failure of harvesting WPN's power then returning to HQ defeated and dejected, Tsukasa tells Lewis to call every Dai-Shocker operative for a meeting. The first combo using more than three medals is Elephant/Pteranodon/Triceratops/Sabretooth Tiger/Tyrannosaurus. The Sonic Rainboom scene is pretty reminiscent of Kittan's death scene, complete with the "This drill is my soul!" line and the very same song playing in the background. When Azula finally takes over Alicia, she transferred the prisioners (Zuko and Toph) to her room and proceeded to torture each and every one of her prisioners to the tune of "I Can't Decide", similar to what a certain Master did. Gai notes the Golden Ending to Avatar's World and says that Azula "Destroyed the world and created it anew". (Note that she also used the same power as the referenced guy did.) Guess what Time Memory's Finishing Move is. Though the world it was performed in lacked any roadrollers, Oleg has taken measures to prepare for a full execution of it later. The Enemy Mine alliance gets the name of Xros Heart, while a prediction from Akared says that there will be a battle called the Legend Xros Wars. Also, during the meeting, Tsukasa has some of his mooks interrupt the meeting with Chariot's Spider Mech. Grey talks about her day, and John's response. "Mustang: make him pay." Conor is told he won't last two seconds if he tries to train in earthbending. His response? Just before Daishuryou and Linkara fight, Daishuryou has this to say (with Linkara's response also adding to the shout-out) Meowrin's In the Name of the Moon speech against the giant Composite Superman would sound suspiciously familiar to fans of old super robot shows... And afterwards, she and Jenny finish him off with an Inazuma Double Rocket Kick!
