Al Fondo Hay Sitio (There Is Room At The Back) is a 2009 Peruvian TV series, created by by Efraín Aguilar. It is a Comedic Slice of Life that deals with the problems of social differences and economic status.One of the most exclusive areas of Lima, "Las Lomas", is shaken up by the arrival of the Gonzales family from Huamanga. The family settled in a half-built house they inherited. Their peasant traditions infuriate the neighbors, especially the family living opposite them, the Maldinis. The Maldinis are the richest family in all of Las Lomas, who decide to get rid of the newcomers. Hilarity Ensues combined with a secret that has involved both families for years...The original run lasted eight seasons from 2009 to 2016, with a grand total of 1583 40 or so minute episodes, which made for an hour of programming considering ad breaks (with the exception of the 90-minutes long series finale). While a continuation seemed impossible for a long time due to all of them moving to other projects (and some behind the scenes issues), a good part of the cast and writers reunited to make a ninth season, currently on air since June 23, 2022. | |

Lucho told Reyna that he was married, but agreed to take care of the child. It's also implied being the "lover" made her crankier over the years. Rafaella abandons Pepe, afraid of the idea of matrimony and the identity of Isabella's biologic parents is revealed. Season 4 ends up with the Gonzales family losing everything because of debts and being more poor that before. Doña Nelly becomes depressed and unable to accept it. Reyna finds out that Lucho is cheating on her with a third love interest. Gladys discovers that Miguel Ignacio is cheating on her and leaves with her mother and son. Grace is pregnant from Nicolas and Fernanda agrees to marry Mike, much to Joel's horror. The Pampañaupa family denounces Francesca for kidnapping their long-lost daughter and she is taken to prison. Claudia kills Mariano before he could tell the Maldini family that Leonardo is Claudia's brother. She is then captured and taken to prison, where she mocks Francesca. Season 6 ends with Grace and Nicolas reconciling after the Gonzales family reveals Rubi's true colors. They go on a romantic vacation together, but the car crashes and everything goes dark....Then, next season reveals that Grace died. Season 8 ends with the benevolent mafia boss Angel being captured by the police, and Joel is captured as well because he worked for him. Teresa and Shirley's boyfriends, Richard and Patrick die in a plane crash. Francesca kills Claudia for once and for all, but not before Claudia reveals her an Awful Truth: Grace was alive all along, but is anmesiac. | |

Once Jhonny took his role as Joel sidekick and Nicholas became closer to Joel,taking the role of his best friend; Kevin basically became a living prop in his last few appereances before being Put on a Bus. He at least make a cameo in the last episode. Once Raul and Charo broke up for good and he got engaged with another women; His involvement in the main store got greatly reduced, usually having his own sub-plot separate from the main story. He was latter Put On Abus too, moving out with his new wife to rise their newborn. While he never was much more than the youngest Gonzales; Jaimito got some small plot in season one and in early season two; but once Jhonny join the main cast, Jaimito basically became a living prop. He couldnt get his own subplot again until the last season. | |
