It is based on the Turkish TV drama Suskunlar, which itself is based on a true story of some boys who were sentenced to prison, and their later actions as adults. Timur Savcı, who was in the original series, is a producer for this series. The show was cancelled after one season. The series follows Jessie (Bre Blair), Jackson (David Lyons), Gil (Michael Raymond-James), and Shawn (Larenz Tate) who end up in a terrible, nightmarish detention facility as children after trying to help their friend ends in a car accident that results in the near death of the other driver. Jessie flees the scene before police arrive, and the three boys are sentenced to nine months in the detention facility. Twenty-five years later, they reunite after their friend "Boots" (Derek Phillips) is arrested for assaulting a man that happened to be one of their fellow inmates that terrorized them as children, and Gil and Shawn seek out Jackson, who is now a very successful lawyer, to represent him. Boots is attacked while in jail and dies at the hospital, and the remaining trio set out to get justice for what was done to them by the warden (Connor O'Farell), guards, and their fellow inmates.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_content_2'); })

Hair-Trigger Temper: It really doesn't take much at all to set Gil off, and of the three men he appears to be the most emotionally unstable.
