He Will Not Divide Us	comment	He Will Not Divide Us (HWNDU for short) was a participatory performance art project started by the trio of LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner and livestreamed on the internet.The launch of the project coincided with the inauguration of Donald Trump, and initially streamed live from Queens, New York. Participants were invited to chant the mantra "He Will Not Divide Us" into the camera but the project soon went off the rails when Trump detractors, Trump supporters, internet trolls and a whole host of other strange internet characters all converged at the site to say their pieces and inevitably clashed, collaborated and fought with each other. It came to an end with the inauguration of Joe Biden.To the audience watching from home, this became something of a reality TV show and they began to document the major events, name and root for their favorite characters, and even create their own art based on what they were watching. The art project that spun out of control and became a reality show has its own page.For those who didn't witness it live, clips from the original stream have been archived on YouTube and HWNDU had its own wiki. Be warned, however, that the wiki is not neutral in the least.

This was unsuccessful as was the time when they attempted to use other drones with flamethrowers to set the flag on fire (it was a fireproof flag). Later on, the drone strategy kept cropping up in spite of its previous failures, such as drones with small chainsaws, paint pots, etc.

The only reason they failed was because they forgot to bring scissors and the flag was held down with zip ties. They did however get the event shut down, thanks to the FACT Museum no longer wanting to deal with the repeated infiltration attempts, and also got away scot-free from the police pursuit.

When the project was downgraded into a livestream of a flag viewed from below somewhere in the U.S. (which was specifically meant to never be found), 4chan trolls managed to locate the flag in under two days by using astronomy, time zones, and detective work; even flight tracking played a role, as the camera's placement facing the sky meant that contrails of passing aircraft could be observed and triangulated. They proceeded to have one of their own steal the flag and fly a MAGA hat and pro-Trump shirt in its place on camera. Of course /pol/ had many keks while Shia got divided again. This was repeated when Shia retreated into a cabin in the middle of nowhere to livestream himself. They managed to find out where he was staying by, thanks to the lack of other clues, examining the wood pattern on the cabin's walls. 4chan 5, Shia 0. And repeated yet again when the project was downgraded even further to nothing more than a flag on a blank white wall somewhere in the world. They managed to locate it in under a few hours in a house in London... where it could no longer be taken. Given the flag was locked away from the public, 4chan decided to call it quits. By the time the flag settled down in France in 2018, it had lost any chances of even being remotely relevant anymore. This eventually spun off into a case of Cut Lex Luthor a Check when people convinced the now bored trolls they could actually do some good by applying the same hunting skills to criminal and terrorist videos. And thus the "weaponized autism" meme was born.
