 Pulsaciones (Pulses) is a Spanish single-season thriller series with fantastic elements currently airing on Antena 3. Created by Emilio Aragón, and noticeably Darker and Edgier than his previous television works. Picked up under the title Lifeline by Channel 4-backed VOD service Walter Presents for the UK and the US.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_content_3'); })The show revolves around two men connected by a heart transplant: the donor, Rodrigo Ugarte (Juan Diego Botto), and the patient, neurosurgeon Álex Puga (Pablo Derqui), who starts seeing Rodrigo's memories in the form of nightmares and hallucinations after the operation. Rodrigo was a journalist who was investigating a series of disappearances, and whatever he had found apparently cost him his life.
