And when Garland threatens to arrest Carey as soon as she leaves, Carey smiles back that as soon as the evidence of Correction (mainly Isaac showing up in front of a live crowd when he's supposed to be in a TV interview) hits, Garland is going to be the one facing criminal charges.

In particular the only part that is fake is Shaun's face, and even then they couldn't fake an expression that they didn't already have footage of. The rest of the footage is pre-filmed on location with a stand-in dressed as Shaun. They had to film 25 different versions to account for clothing and vehicle differences and still almost would have failed if it weren't for Hannah's quick thinking on the night. The only part that's slightly less realistic is their ability to inject the fake footage into the CCTV feed.
