True Beauty (original Korean title: 여신강림, literally "The Advent of a Goddess") is a tvN Korean Drama, based on the Webtoon of the same name. It premiered on December 09, 2020.Im Jugyeong has had it pretty rough; born as the ugly middle daughter of her family, she's been ridiculed for her appearance her whole life and has become an easy target of Attractiveness Discrimination. After a rather harsh rejection, she decides to make herself prettier with makeup via online tutorials. When her father's debt problem forces the family to move back into their old hometown, she decides to start over socially as well; with her now-perfected makeup, her ugliness disappears and suddenly, she goes from being ostracized to being admired as one of the prettiest girls in the school.
