It can best be described as a hybrid RPG/Third-Person Shooter game.In the year 2051, humanity is on the verge of extinction following an alien invasion that started nearly fifteen years ago. With their backs to the wall, the last twelve humans awaken a mysterious Super-Soldier known as "B★RS" (or "Stella") as part of their last desperate push against the alien menace.The game features an all-star Japanese voice cast, including Maaya Sakamoto (as B★RS), Tomokazu Sugita, Hiroshi Kamiya, Miyuki Sawashiro, Mai Nakahara and many more. The music is composed by Manabu Namiki.Nippon Ichi licensed the game for release in English. Awesome, but Impractical: The ultimate Blade skill BB Genocide is mostly this. It boasts massively improved damage compared to its predecessor, the Iksa Blade, and also hits all enemies. However, it still only deals maximum damage to stunned enemies, the same quirk that Blade Kill and Iksa Blade had, and the only other skill that inflicts Stun is the Snipe skills, which only hit single enemies (and the stun wears off fairly quickly anyways). Combined with a cooldown time of three minutes in a game where most battles don't last half as long, it's more or less a glorified Hammer skill (also hits all enemies, but for normal damage) save for boss battles. |
