This article illustrates how a Patlabor's use of a hand cannon can cause trouble for nearby civilians trying to escape. Of course, this viewpoint was a key part of Patlabor already. As the game progresses, there will be increasing numbers of NPC's, both civilian and rescue services, who are unable to cope with the terror brought about by the sudden appearance of the giants.
