Fire Emblem: Different Dimensions: Ostian Princess (also known as Fire Emblem: Ostian Princess) is a Game Mod of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade made by a Brazilian romhacker that goes by the name "Mig64". Ostian Princess is an alternate history rom hack, in which the player controls the titular Ostian Princess, Lilian.The rom hack is notable for being So Bad, It's Good. Among other things, the hack gives you units with insane inventories (for example, in the first chapter, there is a player unit who has a Brave Sword, a Light Brand and a Silver Sword on chapter 1!) and some weird design choices. You can check out Endorphy's LP of this trainwreck if you want to amuse yourself. There was also a reimagination of sorts, Fire Emblem: Reborn Dimensions: Olethian Princess (or FERDOP) by Random Wizard, which take the base concepts from the game's plot, sets it in an unrelated universe with new characters (most sharing names or similar from FEDDOP's characters, and prexisting FE characters replaced with original characters, for example, Uther is now Uphric), in an attempt to make an actually competent hack. |
