Funko Pop! Blitz is a free-to-play Match-Three Game on iOS and Android devices. It was originally created by NBCUniversal, but switched over to N3TWORK in collaboration with Tic Toc Games after the closure of NBCUniversal’s video game branch. It was officially released on September 30th, 2020.The game is focused around Funko Pop! versions of various existing characters. Many are characters owned by Universal and their subsidies, though there are a few random other franchises and Funko-original series as well. The game itself plays like a basic match-three game, with a designated character to unlock a special ability.Various combinations of matching yield different power-ups for the game:

Ambiguous Gender: Out of all the animals in the Pets collection, the German Shepard is the only one to be labeled with pronouns (masculine ones, in his case). This leaves the other pets with unknown genders.

Bribing Your Way to Victory: Downplayed. The only currency in-game is Coins. They are how Boosters are used when no free ones remain, how time is added when close to a high score, how lives are purchased without waiting on a timer, and, most importantly, how characters are purchased. Coins are easily grinded in-game, but they can also be purchased with real currency.

Cap: Character power levels are assigned from three Stars to six. Rarer characters have a higher Star count, and each Event will have two six-star chances, one as an Event prize and the other as an Event Box chance. Collecting all of the Stars won't stop the Pop from appearing in boxes, but will instead grant extra stars for the Star Level instead of leveling up the character's abilities.

Original Generation: Freddy Funko is the mascot of the Funko company. He is given multiple variants as additions in the game, and is also the tutorial character. The Fantastik Plastik characters are pre-Pop Funko characters that were given Pop designs. The Wetmore Forest characters are part of the unique Funko Pop! Monsters subline. The Pets are part of the unique Funko Pop! Pets subline. The Peppermint Lane characters are from Funko's original line of Christmas Pops. The Pop! Around the World series is from a Funko-exclusive brand of characters.

One-Steve Limit: Averted, Freddy Funko has four variants, the rarer ones differentiated with different colors. They all make up the same "Funko" team category. They originally would not show up in the same board as each other, but an update to the game for "board optimization" caused this to happen, thanks to how different they were in appearance. Marty McFly has three different variants in-game. The Hazmat suit one is different enough to possibly appear with the unsuited version in-game. Dr. Ian Malcolm has two variants in-game, his standard and his Wounded version that was given out as an event prize. The only difference is the Wounded variant lacking sunglasses, so the two variants do not show up together in games, as they too closely resemble each other.

Early-Bird Cameo: The Universal Studio Monsters, General Mills characters, and Pets were used as board filler before they became playable characters. The Care Bears appeared on the loading screen, along with Funshine Bear on the game rating screen before the series had its event. Toothless and the Light Fury have appeared on the title screen as tile pieces from the start of the game. This was before their debut in the game, where they did not even have a collection or "coming soon" bio filled out, only getting them during their event.
