It is part of the Aleste series, and a direct Spiritual Successor to M.U.S.H.A.. It is notably the only game in the series to use the Aleste name in the North American release, and one of two in Europe (the other being Super Aleste).A mysterious airship crashes in Japan during the Sengoku Period. This ship, driven by Steam-fuelled electricity, sparked a proliferation of technology across the country. Soon, wars weren't fought with just Ashigaru and Samurai, but Airships and Humongous Mecha as well.During the wars, Oda Nobunaga becomes one of the strongest warlords, and soon finds himself facing an alliance alone after his remaining ally, Dosan Saito, is murdered by his own son. Nobunaga's only hope lies in White Fang, a secretive clan of mecha-piloting ninjas. One of them, Kage Okami, flies his machine Aleste into battle against Nobunaga's enemies.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })Robo Aleste features the following tropes:
