In addition, Timecrest utilizes real-world time progression to advance its plot alongside having the player themselves being an active character who shapes the plot.In the world of Alyncia, a young mage named Ash Elden contacts the Player as meteors descend from the sky and plan to destroy the world. Upon realizing they have some power in the world of Alyncia, the Player turns back time to stop the meteors from ever descending.
