Originally titled, Morenatsu: Revisited, the game was originally going to give small write-ups to everyone's routes while also finishing up the three routes that were never completed by the original team, Torahiko, Kyouji, and Soutarou. After porting the original game to Ren'py, they ultimately decided to completely overhaul the writing and art and add a few new spin on certain events.It starts out the same as the original, with Hiroyuki, now an arctic fox, getting an invite from Torahiko to visit for the summer. The protagonist being a fox now isn't the only thing that's changed, as some characters have gotten a different design or personality and there is now more of a focus on story than originally. Instead of choosing who to spend time with on a certain day, the game plays through the whole 24 hours of that date and now Hiroyuki can interact with anyone during the day if he follows the correct route.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })The game is still in development, with Stormsinger Studios hoping to finish the game by the 2020 decade. Shun, though it's downplayed. While he is still one of the nicer main characters in the game and still a friendly individual, he is somewhat ruder to some of the characters whenever they get him mad, especially Torahiko and Kounosuke, though Tora sometimes has it coming. He is also shown to be much more competitive gaming wise and takes these challenges very seriously. | |

Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Hiroyuki is given this, as it's shown how the move really affected him, with him outright admitting to hating his new home in Osaka. He is also given a father, who would usually come home drunk and proceed to be at least verbally abusive to the poor fox. Kouya's struggles with his living conditions is made much more apparent here, as he tries to dodge any questions about what he's doing, even lashing out at Kyouji for putting the pieces together with what's going on. Shun's problems with his family in the original game aren't brought up until his route begins. Here, it's shown that his family is pressuring him into becoming the next heir by making him do things he doesn't enjoy such as watching over the shrine or practicing for the Bon Festival. He's even shown getting into a fight with his dad about his responsibilities. | |

While Kouya was something of a rebel in the original, he was always shown to be level-headed and calm, with some of his mean comments being mostly light-hearted teasing. Here, due to his personal problems getting Foreshadowed, he is much more prone to violent outbursts and his rivalry with Torahiko is even more vicious, with them about to get into a fight, over the best flavor for steaks of all things. | |
