Gilligan Cut: In 'Civility,' the camera guy insists that Kim not touch the law books on the shelf, even though Kim wants to arrange the books in a more sensible manner. After a cut, the books have been rearranged.

Rewatch Bonus: The series serves as a trailer for the events of season five, with Jimmy working for Lalo, marital privilege a topic, and most importantly, Kim's Slowly Slipping Into Evil breakdown.

Production Throwback: In the first episode, Kim notes "If you want to be a good lawyer, you have to be a good lawyer." This is a subtle but direct reference to Jesse's comment about Saul Goodman to Walter White back in Breaking Bad: "When the going gets tough, you don't want a criminal lawyer; you want a criminal lawyer."

Continuity Nod: The Kettlemans appear in Marital Privilege. They're embezzling funds by hiding cash in a pink stuffed teddy bear. Kim mocks Jimmy's script in Money, seeing it as something a strip-mall lawyer would say — ie., exactly correct. Also, at the end of the animated segment, Walt appears, rolling a barrel in the desert. Client Privilege has a ton of the Breaking Bad cast show up in some form: Mr. Mayhew (who is actually Walter White) is Kim's client. He pays her with a hundred-dollar bill from a barrel full of cash. When they're having lunch, Gus, Lydia, Hank, and Todd are all attempting to eavesdrop. Kim meets with Jesse and Mike as Walt's associates in Vamanos Pest. Clients telling attorneys that they intend to commit a crime is information exempt from privilege, as demonstrated with Krazy-8 being bike locked to a post to presumably be killed later. If a crime has already been committed on the other hand — demonstrated with Emilio's body being melted with hydrofluoric acid — that's fair game. Hank and Gomie accost Kim in the courthouse with questions about Heisenberg.

Ambulance Chaser: A literal example in the opening credits, in which Saul (or at least his car) chase after an ambulance.
