Lumpy Touch is a YouTube channel that focuses on making Eldritch Abominations out of pretty much anything imaginable, most of the time with a comedic tone.The first video on the channel was, of all things, a video of Smash 4, but his true claim to fame is his Garfield Gameboy'd videos, inspired by the work of William Burke. In the animations, he has been portrayed as: An Animalistic Abomination that easily kills Odie (who's usually been portrayed as nearly-equal or even stronger than Garfield in terms of power), a cat infected with a parasite that turned him into a shapeshifting Eldritch Abomination that has the power to end the world and infinitely regenerate, and an Eldritch Abomination that could potentially consume the universe. Lyman, who, at the end of Garfield Gameboy'd, seemingly turns into a superpowered muscular being with a Battle Aura, although we never get to see his newfound powers so it's unknown how strong did he actually become. Berdly in "Berdly learns to wavedash". While in the original game, he could hold his own against the Chosen Ones, he still wasn't strong enough to beat them, meanwhile in the animation, he managed to lay a Curb-Stomp Battle on all 3 of the Chosen Ones with ease. Kris in the Omega Spamton videos. Though unconscious for the majority of both, since Spamton stole their soul, they get back up after the others are knocked out, slicing Omega Spamton clean in half with a single strike. Since we never actually see Kris portray this level of power in the original game, as of yet, this fits into the trope. Pretty much all main characters of Pizza Tower receive this treatment in the "Pizza Tower Z" series, gaining fighting skills and transformations inspired by Dragon Ball Z. | |

Sonic, on the other hand, is trapped in Carnival Night Zone, within a long vertical tunnel just wide enough to fit the infamous Barrel of Doom he's standing on. The only thing awaiting Sonic at either end are Spikes that are just out of his reach, and wouldn't even kill him anyway if he has rings. The "Sans" short sees a corrupted rotting Sans constantly sending fake-out attacks at a SOUL trapped in an invincible, immovable box barely bigger than their sprite. The SOUL can't attack, select commands, use items or even die; forced to watch Sans' attacks in an endless loop. The only available command is perpetually outside of the box, under the watchful eye of something in the bottom-right corner. In later shorts in the series, this expands to other bosses, with undead versions of Papyrus, Undyne, and Monster Kid similarly trapping the SOUL in a loop for eternity. | |
