Matt Guion plays both Regular Matt and Matt Hatter, two sides of the same coin, who compare and contrast which version of a story is better, books or movies. They are aided in this by several other of Matt's personas (such as "The Scottish Reviewer," who looks at theatre and stage productions), each one with his own gimmick or personality. Also appearing frequently is Matt's sister Cassie, who sometimes takes a third side in the argument or just messes things up for the hell of it. Matt's brother Jeffrey and girlfriend Alicia make recurring appearances as well, as do a few of his friends — several of them with YouTube accounts and personas of their own.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })So far, they have tackled the following books/movies:Book(s)Movie(s)Outcome/NotesMatildaMatildaBookFreaky FridayFreaky Friday (1976)MovieThe Wonderful Wizard of OzThe Wizard of OzMovieCharlie and the Chocolate FactoryWilly Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryMovie/BookWayside SchoolWaysideBookThe Time Traveler's WifeThe Time Traveler's Wife (2009)BookTo Kill a MockingbirdTo Kill a MockingbirdBookA Little PrincessA Little Princess (1995)BookThe Princess BrideThe Princess BrideMovieHolesHolesBookV for VendettaV for VendettaMovieThe Marvelous Land of Oz, Ozma of OzReturn to OzMovieThe PrestigeThe PrestigeMovieA Christmas Carolfive different film adaptations, including the Muppet oneBookThe Little MermaidThe Little Mermaid (1989)BookThe Catcher in the RyeApril Fool's Day 2011TwilightTwilightMovieWhere the Wild Things AreWhere the Wild Things AreMovieAlice's Adventures in WonderlandAlice in WonderlandMovieThe Secret GardenThe Secret Garden (1993)MovieCoralineCoralineMovieThe Lion, the Witch, and the WardrobeThe Lion, the Witch, and the WardrobeMovieThe Neverending StoryThe Neverending StoryBookHarry Potter seriesHarry Potter seriesBookWatchmenWatchmenBookAnimal FarmAnimal FarmBookPeter PanPeter Pan, Peter Pan, HookBookTuck EverlastingTuck EverlastingBookWho Censored Roger Rabbit?Who Framed Roger RabbitMovieClassic fairy talesDisney adaptations, primarily Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Sleeping BeautyMovieThe Lord of the RingsThe Lord of the RingsMovieThe Incredible JourneyHomeward Bound: The Incredible JourneyMovieBooks Vs MoviesApril Fool's Day 2013FrankensteinFrankensteinBookPsychoPsychoMovieMiseryMiseryBookAdvertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })Can be seen here.

Attention Whore: Cassie shows definite traits of this, often butting in on reviews without being asked to and being more than willing to be contrary or make unnecessary points just to be part of the review. Takes it to obnoxious extremes in the Harry Potter review, where she's basically trolling Matt throughout the entire review, showing up at regular intervals to compare the books/movies to distinctly non-canon material such as A Very Potter Musical and Potter Puppet Pals, or complain that Neville Longbottom isn't getting enough attention in the review.

Captain Obvious: One of Matt's personas, named exactly that. As of The Lord of the Rings review, however, it seems that there might be more to Captain Obvious than just stating the obvious.
