Amanda Green, SIA is a webcomic about the ways normal people would cope with a world of superhumans, told from the perspective of Amanda Green, who is a Superhuman Insurance Agent (SIA). Amanda's not a Superhuman insurance agent, she's an agent who sells Superhuman Insurance — insurance that covers the damage caused by superheroes and supervillains alike.New Romford is a city filled with superpeople. There are superheroes like Adonis and Speedster, supervillains like Lightning Bug and the Dinosaur Queen, and regular citizens who just happen to have superpowers who aren't into that whole "costumed vigilante" thing. So things like destroyed buildings, crushed cars and monster carcasses are all regular occurrences in New Romford, and people need to insure their property. Amanda's one of the sympathetic people who assess the damage and process your claim. Just like insurance agents in our world, our world, only with weapons and body armor.On June 5, 2018, creator Greg Thelen died. There are no plans for continuation. |
